We're currently running an online Flower Power Bulbs Fundraiser. I really try not to send out frequent requests for financial help -- but I do have serious dilemma. My deadline is Wednesday 10/15/2014

One of our “kids” needs major surgery. Ginger, 1 of 10 of the Molli’s puppies has injured herself. She’s always been "The Rowdy Girl" of her siblings. Just like any young Chessie/Lab she's always in high gear. Few months back she was running around out in my back yard at about 90 miles an hour -- as usual --- and she tore her nail so badly her toe had to be amputated!

Now, we have a major medical problem. She must have fallen & tore the cruciate ligament in her knee. My Vet said it was a small tear & would probably heal with complete “Bed Rest” which meant she had to stay in her crate for three weeks, only permitted outside to potty on leash & right back in.

Sadly for her, it’s been over a month & she still favors that injured back leg. I know I did everything right, but since she is 97 1/2 lbs. it looks like she’ll need surgery, which averages $4000 to $6000. This injury is complicated by the fact that she is very young, (under 2 years old) very large, with tons energy.

Right now, my goal is to try to raise at least $1,000, so I can get her in to see a specialist. We know there will be upfront expenses for X-rays & possibly even an MRI.

If you would consider helping me by purchasing the flower bulbs, a sample of the choices above, we get a very generous 50% of all sales! I would be extremely grateful. I’m about $600 short of my goal. If you know anyone else who might be interested in supporting our fundraiser there is a direct link below.  We’ve found that several people preferred to make a donation rather than purchase bulbs, if that’s the case, there is a secure link on the top right hand side of our website that takes PayPal or all major credit cards.
