ADOPTED!! I'm very happy for Simone' has met her new family & has gone home! Her new Mom has had Peke's since she was five years old, but she has waited ten years to adopt a new one! Now she'll have a Mom, Dad & 2-legged sister Simone' could not have been any cuter! She's a just sweet, happy go lucky loving little Peke! Simone's is my 490th adoption.

Well, may I recommend our new baby girl Simone’ She came in from a horrid situation in KY where her former owners dropped her off at a kill shelter because she was horrifically infested with fleas & had huge monster mats! Whose fault is that she got into the condition she was? Peke’s do indeed require regular grooming & if you’re not prepared to provide regular grooming perhaps you should look for a different type of dog. Simone’ came in such mess our groomer did have to shave her down. She had so much hair in front of her face we couldn't even tell what she was! There are a few a photos below to show you how unkempt she was when she was dumped at the in KY.
She LOVES to go for walks & already has good leash manners since she is being trained in basic commands. She's such a good little girl just wants to be with people & please you! Always amazes me that they can be so wonderful after the horrors they’ve faced -- but she a true doll baby. Simone’s loves people & is always wagging her tail when you even look at her! She plays all day with her toys & her foster siblings.
Pekingese have an average lifespan of 14-16 years so we’ll require that she is adopted into a family that is young enough so that she can spend her whole life being loved by them.

All LnF pups/dogs have been temperament tested & live in foster homes ~ All pups and dogs have been housebroken (puppies are paper trained) & crated trained ~ All pups/dogs have been Microchipped ~ Tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia & Lyme ~ Each dog is on Heartworm Medication year-round while in our care ~ Up to date with three-year Rabies ~ Distemper, Parvo & Leptospirosis vaccines ~ Wormed.
Our adoption fee includes (30) days of FREE pet insurance with an option to purchase, but it's your choice. We strive to provide the BEST medical care available so that YOU are assured all our pups/dogs are healthy, up-to-date on all necessary shots, spayed or neutered by our rescue.
Adoption Requirements: *A minimum physical 4-foot high fence or is higher is always mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may need a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence & if so it's noted on their profile. We will not consider any applications that does not have an installed fence. We do NOT accept any of electric fence, no exceptions.
