UPDATE: 3-6-09 - I took my darling little girl home to her parents this morning. I left crying since for the short time she was here in my life as her Foster Mom --she made me smile many times a day. She is just one of those dogs that is so cute .. you can't help but just love her to pieces!
She has an extended family since her 2 legged sister has 3 dogs so she will have them to play with when they come to visit. The most important thing she will do is bring some life back into her older sister Sadie. Having a new kid in the house helps the older ones do some mentoring which gives them some extra special purpose.
It was an honor and joy to have Lolli-Pop here in my home & I'm most pleased that she will heal the hearts of both her parents & have another job to keep Mom company during their many travels. Who would have thought this little dog in a high kill shelter in SC would have so much work to do here right in Delaware?
Well, I took my little darling girl on a home visit and she charmed her parents as much as she has me. Lolli-Pop will now have a Mom & Dad, an older 4 legged sister -- who was not as fond of the idea of this little kid in her home --
and a 2 legged sister and her 4 legged children. Does that make them cousins?
Lolli-Pop will have a wonderful life as her Mom's companion and I'm sure she will wiggle that adorable part of her into her new Dad's heart. I'm very happy for my sweet little one who makes me smile several times a day because she is so cute --
This adorable 6 month old pup is coming in on a transport from South Carolina 2-14-09. The shelter said she is so cute, very, very sweet and her markings and her body are quite unique. Lolli Pop is white with black markings and she has a full black mask on just one side of her face.
They think she is a Beagle/Corgi mix due to her markings and her very short body and legs. We can't wait to meet!
At this time we do not think she will weigh more then 25 pounds full grown.
If you would like to fill out an online application, you must first register on the website and await an e-mailed passcode. Once you have this info, you will be able to access our application.

Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced in property either Physical or Petstop Electric Fence. We do NOT accept any other brand

We abide by the Humane Association's recommendation. For ANY DOG adoption to have a relatively good chance of success, we believe a child should be 8 years old & up. We only adopt what we call our "BONA-FIDE Kid Lovers to families with children." Many dogs do not want to live with children. You should only adopt a dog who LOVES kids to be sure you are able to make a lifetime commitment to a dog.
We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily. This can be through a family member, neighbor, or Petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
We have several Petsitting service companies that we can recommend:
