UPDATE: It has finally happened for our
dear, sweet Blu. The perfect family has come along to give her the love and devotion she deserves.
She is getting two 2-legged siblings, and Stephen has made it clear that Blu is to sleep in his bed with him. She has never slept in a human bed so I can not imagine the joy this will bring to her! She will also be expected to be laying on Stephen's lap when he is watching TV. Now, I must admit, Blu is accustomed to the comfy world of
sofas.
She will also be permitted to run like the wind in her new yard which is completely fenced in and 3,000 square feet!! Yeah Blu!! She is a pure joy to watch run so this is just perfect for her.
Blu is my baby girl, we've had her for over 6 months. It took us that long to find the perfect family for this wonderful spirit. So happy for her!
UPDATE: Blu spent the day with some friends and boy did she have fun! She went to 2 dog parks and was an absolute GEM! Here is what her Uncle Mike and Aunt Cindy had to say, "Blu is a wonderful pup! She was so pleasant, calm, and content in the car (quite unusual for a pup!) When we got to the park, Blu's personality came to fruition; she became friends with every person, kid, and dog that she passed and was so well behaved that it was an honor to be walking with such a treasure! She loves to walk and if you're a "jogger", she would be a wonderful companion! She prances right next to you at exactly your pace, never stopping unless you do! We were amazed!
Blu would be happiest in a home that is full of love, security, and a routine. She is an extremely accommodating puppy who wants nothing more than a family to love and spend time with! If you are looking for a pup who loves giving hugs and kisses; loves to play; and loves everyone she meets, Blu is the girl for you!!"
Unless you have a very active life, walking, running, jogging, hiking, we would prefer that Blu live in a home with a 6 foot fence or Invisible Fence. She is a joy to watch run and play and we want that for her in her life. Blu is my beautiful foster baby! Blu is small, only 46 pounds and I would consider her full grown. She is an extremely affectionate 1 year old playful, sweet-natured Beagle/Hound mix with gorgeous blue porcelain eyes that almost stop you in your tracks.
Pictures do not do her justice; you have to see her in person to appreciate her magnificence. She is extremely stunning (everyone says so when they meet her in person) and her fur is as soft as velvet. Today I got the impression that she is a human in a dog costume! She is one fine little puppy girl!!
She loves giving kisses, laying in your lap, and curling up next to you on the sofa. She really is a joyful puppy and we're hoping that someone will come along who would love to share a lifetime of happiness with this little love bug! Blu's intelligence and willingness to "do a good job" enable her to catch on quickly.
There is one picture of Blu when we first saw her at the shelter. She was a stray and no one loved or cared what happened to her until we came along. She deserves a family who will love her forever.
