About Kelsey Went Home 05! | |

Kelsey was found as a stray and captured by animal control. She appears to be about a year old. She is a friendly, yellow lab mix. She is very sweet and calm. She seems like a gentle soul. Thanks to a new foster family we were able to get this lovely girl out of the Georgetown, DE SPCA. We will be able to give a full report shortly but I've been told so far that she is very submissive with her foster sisters (two Rotties) and just joyful to be out of the shelter. A doggie bone and a doggie bed and she feels like she has hit the lottery! Well, in the shelter dog's life, she actually has.
November 17- This gal joined our home just 2 days ago and has wiggled her way right in!! We've changed her name to Kelsey and it really suits her. Kelsey is very gentle and playful with us and our Rotties. She is not a barker! She was an angel for her bath, sits on command, goes to the door to be let out, and allows her feet to be wiped when she comes in. She has shown no food or other aggression and loves to be both in and out of doors. Kelsey is very trusting and seems thrilled to have a temporary family. She's going to bring her "forever family" such joy!! More soon!
Nov. 27th. Kelsey's doing great! Sit, down, off, and "leave it" are nearly perfect. Quiet when crated. Still never barked. She's so gentle and sweet!
