Ty is the smartest dog in the bunch. He definitely is the alpha male, and there are 3 males in the group and no one chooses to change that self appointed title with Ty. He is EXTREMELY intellingent and is just one of those special dogs that knows what you're thinking. At 8 weeks old, he can climb a 24 inch baby gate and never bat an eye. He also comes immediately when called, is extremely loyal and loving, but he is the high energy boy out of the bunch. He will NOT BE ADOPTED to anyone that has time constraints to spend with their new puppy. He must go to an experienced large breed puppy family.
He is the type of dog that comes along ONCE in a lifetime. There is definitely a soulmate out there for him and I'm willing to wait to find that person. He is going to be a trying dog, because of his level of intelligence. Sweet as anything, but just like having a 2 year old boy toddler, That's Ty. Whoever gives Ty a home, and spends adequate time with him will be the happiest dog owner there is. We need a "dog whisperer" type person for Ty. And we would keep him ourselves, but we have decided to keep the female, Ginger, as we have the mother, and a male rat terrier as well. With 2 small children and 3 dogs, ages 3 1/2, 1 year and 8 weeks that is all I know I can handle and work full time.
