UPDATE: I am so happy that my darling Traci Ann was adopted by a previous adopter. She is shown here with her new big sister Bella who we rescued 5 years ago from a high kill shelter in Delaware. My girls have wonderful parents, a wonderful yard with a pool, and all the love and attention they could ever want. Bella accepted Traci Ann immediately and they started to play in their big back yard playing catch me if you can! It was a GREAT day in rescue for me!

Meet my new BFF! Traci Ann arrived from the Wetzel shelter in WV & came in as a stray. Thankfully, she has not been abused, just horribly neglected. She is so young, she's just about about 1 year and she is just full of love, play & she has a joyful personality. She just wants to play with everyone, big and small. She is submissive so she can be adopted into any home with another dog with no problem. I can't believe how pretty she is in person. She loves everyone 2 - 4 legged creatures are her favorite. She is a "talker" who makes delightful sounds of pleasure & does the froggy leg thing which is another of my favorite cute things that dogs due. You just want to squeeze their rear-end!

She is pure white except for one black ear. She has the spirit & heart of a white lab & she has already shown me to be a good girl who just wants to do whatever you want her to do. She will be a perfect companion for the right people who will give her all the love & attention she deserves.

PLEASE NOTE: A fence is always mandatory - no exceptions. Be sure to read ALL our adoption policies prior to applying for a puppy/dog.  ~~ If you do NOT agree with our adoption policies - please feel free to apply at a rescue that you do agree with.

If you have read all our adoption requirements and are qualified -  you may apply online - you must first register on the website and await an e-mailed passcode. Once you have this info, you will be able to access our application.

Our adoption donation is $200 which is much less then (1/2) of what we've actually spent to properly vet & spay/neuter each of our dogs. Adoption donation for any dog 5 years and up is $100.

All L&F dogs/pups live in foster homes ~ Housebroken (paper trained if pups) ~ Crate Trained ~ UTD with all shots ~ Spayed/Neutered ~ Microchipped ~ De-Wormed ~ Chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions.

Any dog/pup adopted from us MUST have a fenced in property either Physical or Petstop Electric Fence.  We do not accept any other brand due to the high failure rate. The fence must be installed or signed contract prior to us completing an adoption application. If you need an electric fence contact the company Petstop @
www.petstop.com

We expect our puppies to be adopted into families that can raise them which means we will only adopt to people who have previous puppy raising experience, either work from home or part-time. We believe they like children need to be raised not left in a crate all day. If you do not meet these standards - please do not apply as you will be denied.

We abide by the Humane Association's recommendation. For ANY DOG adoption to have a relatively good chance of success, we believe a child should be 8 years old & up. We only adopt what we call our "BONA-FIDE Kid Lovers to families with children." Many dogs do not want to live with children. You should only adopt a dog who LOVES kids to be sure you are able to make a lifetime commitment to a dog.

We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily. This can be through a family member, neighbor, or pet sitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.

We have several pet sitting service companies that we can recommend:

Dogtopia Daycare & Spa – Wilmington DE – 302-622-4788 - www.dogdaycare.com/wilmington
