Update: As you can see Miss Molly Mae is a beautiful little girl, she loves her bandanas!!! Molly is a very petite little girl she is only 30lbs she is a perfect size!!!

Molly Mae is an extremely intelligent little girl, she loves to sleep by the wood burning stove, so cute. Pictures do not do her justice, she is a beautiful petite little girl. She is very easy, very low maintenance. I think she would do better as an only dog, but she does chose certain dogs as her friends and loves them, she did so with my last foster Buddy and she really enjoys my Tasha who was also an L & F girl. Molly Mae is a wonderful dog and would be a great addition to your family!!!

Update: Miss Molly is so cute she will suddenly just walk up to you and want some face time, if I am sitting on my couch, she will just walk up and stare into my eyes like she is saying I need some attention right now, so cute!!! I will take some time with her and she is so appreciative, she will give very light little kisses, she is very gentle when she visits, she is a delightful creature!!!

Update: This is the beautiful Miss Molly Mae hanging out with my Tasha(lab, who was also an L&F rescue) I cannot understand why Miss Molly is not getting the attention she deserves, she is a very small, very striking little girl, who desperately wants a home of her own. She does well with most dogs although she can be a little alpha in her behavior. Molly is a very curious girl and would love to be with an active family. Molly is a wonderful dog would make a great family member. It must be mentioned that Molly Mae has never made one potty training mistake!!!!!

Update: I have just decided that Miss Molly would make a fantastic search and rescue dog, I live in a house where I have four dogs of my own, as well as two cats. Toys in my house come and go at quite a pace. Molly has been able to find probably every lost toy in the house. She will climb under couches, she can get into any space it is amazing!!!!

Update: Molly Mae is my new foster child and what a sweetheart she is. She is a very young girl, but so well behaved, she has free reign of my house, the only crate time she spends is when I am away for longer times, but she has earned my trust. She has not made one mistake potty training wise, she is amazing. She gets along great with my four dogs and two cats and one parrot. She is such a beautiful little girl, big eyes, big ears, and a very petite little body. She is a delightful creature, a small hound dog, just as cute as she can be, we are having alot of fun. She loves toys, and loves to sit outside, she can entertain herself for hours, not at all a needy girl.

UPDATE: You can not take your eyes off of Molly Mae because her eyes are so expressive that you just keep staring at her. She just draws you in with her almost human eyes!

Thursday evening and Friday I had the pleasure of Molly Mae's company for a play-date. She was an absolute joy to have around, and although extremely energenic, she fit comfortably in my apartment. Molly quickly adjusted to her new surroundings and followed me everywhere I went (she just LOVES attention).

I couldn't have been happier with Molly around, she is a delight to have around and kept me smiling the entire time!

This is our newest Beagle/Foxhound puppy Molly Mae. She came from a shelter in VA. She was an owner surrender because they said she kept breaking off her chain and running off. Gee, a dog who doesn't enjoy being tied all it's life to a box. Imagine that!

Molly Mae came to us spayed and we have completed the rest of her shots had her microchiped her.

I thought she was cute in her pictures but she is truly unique in her coloring, marking and as with most hounds, the most deep soul searching eyes. I believe she is very bright and has shown to have goat in her because she is constantly climbing on top of the crates to get a bird eye view of the world.

This is what the shelter had to say about her:

I love playing and jumping up and peeking to see who is on the other side of the wall. I'm rooming with Extra, and boy is he a good boy. I love him, I curl up next to him and he keeps me warm. I'm on the petite size & only 30 lbs.

Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced in property either Physical or Petstop Electric Fence. We do not accept any other brand
due to the high failure rate. The fence must be installed prior to us completing an adoption application.
If you need an electric fence contact the company Petstop @ http://www.petstop.com/

We abide by the Humane Association's recommendation. For ANY DOG adoption to have a relatively good chance of success, we believe a child should be 8 years old & up. We only adopt what we call our "BONA-FIDE Kid Lovers to families with children." Many dogs do not want to live with children. You should only adopt a dog who LOVES kids to be sure you are able to make a lifetime commitment to a dog.

We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily. This can be through a family member, neighbor, or Petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.

We have several Petsitting service companies that we can recommend:
