4/22/2006 Mimi & Kiki met their new family today. They will have a mom, dad, and 2 two-legged brothers to cherish them. We are so glad to have found a family that realizes how special they are and want to keep them together forever!

Mimi and Kiki are two Corgi mix sisters from the Georgetown, DE SPCA, both of whom had been abused. Because they have a special bond, we are looking for a home which will keep them together.

03/19/06 These girls have come so far since they've come here. Mimi was very timid, but Kiki was absolutely terrified and would flatten herself and curl into a ball whenever approached. Mimi is now friendly to everyone who has come to the house and even with people at the Mingle. Kiki did much better at the Mingle then we expected. She stayed close to her sister, but appreciated the attention she got from people. With us at home, Kiki is a regular, playful dog, even to the point of stealing shoes if we don't put them away. Both girls are so sweet and loving, play nicely with all the dogs, learn quickly, and are perfectly housetrained. They really are easy dogs and are SOOO CUTE, especially when they're together, which is almost always.

03/08/06 These girls have the short legs, long solid body, and big ears of a Corgi, but the color (Mimi yellow, Kiki black) and mellow temperament of labs. They are timid in new situations (especially Kiki) with new people, new dogs etc, but warm up and play with the other dogs and will give people kisses. They are calm, quiet, gentle sweethearts and love the attention they're getting.
