Kiki and Mimi are two Corgi mix sisters from the Georgetown, DE SPCA, both of whom had been abused. Because of their special bond, we want them to be adopted together.
03/19/06 Kiki has come a long way from the terrifed pup she was when we first met her. She is still timid with new people, but appreciates gentle attention from strangers. She did much better at the Mingle then we expected and just stayed close to her sister. With us at home, she is a regular, playful dog, even to the point of stealing shoes if we don't put them away. Both girls are so sweet and loving, they play nicely with all the dogs, learn quickly, and are perfectly housetrained. They really are easy dogs and are SOOO CUTE, especially when they're together, which is almost always.
03/13/06 Kiki has the short legs, long solid body, and big ears of a Corgi, but her ears hang down like a lab.
She is black with white undercoat. She is still very timid in new situations, with new people and new dogs, but is starting to warm up, especially now that she is back with her sister again. She is starting to play with toys and other dogs and is appreciative of calm gentle attention.
Although Kiki is very timid at first, she loves people and just wants to be hugged. She is just starting to "smile" and play with all her foster brother and sisters. Because she looks to her sister Mimi for reassurance, we want to find a home for the two sisters together.
She is being spayed on 3/20/06.
