4/09 Well Jeff met his new Mom at our Mingle on Sat. They had adopted their dog Georgia from us, and when she took him home for a weekend playdate, it was a lovefest all around, and we knew he had found his forever home.
3/1 Update from foster: Jeff is a gem of a dog! Very gentle and well mannered. When it's time to play, he plays, when it's time to stop, he knows to stop. He is very intelligent and learns fast! You only have to give him one stern no, and he will not even try to do it again. He is soo good with my little 8 pd foster dog Percy. He plays gently with him and lets Percy lay all over him. I cat tested him with my families cats and he did great. I also tested him with my young nieces and he also is a kid lover. On top of all that he is so handsome! I'm going to hate to give this great boy up!
Jeff has arrived on transport from West Virginia.
Notes: VERY Original and HANDSOME 9 mo. old male. He was a house dog, so is neutered, house trained, and crate trained. Very well behaved and does great on leash, but still has your typical "puppy" behaviors.
All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet, gentle dispositions, and are living in foster homes with families. They each have had the following:
SPAYED/NEUTERED
Microchipped
Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia
On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus (as long as they are with us)
Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.
Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough
Two De-Wormings
PLEASE NOTE: Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced in property either physical or Electric Fence IF there are children in the home.
If you need a fence for your dog, but are not permitted to have a physical fence, or chose not to, please visit our friends at Pet Stop. Mention that you saw them at our website and they have promised to send us a donation to help our rescue work.

We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
We have several petsitting service companies that we can recommend:
www.homesweethomepetsit.org/ in PA & DE
www.delawarepooperscoopers.com in PA, NJ, & DE
http://www.tlcpetsitting.net/ in MD
