Pixie & Trixie are two beautiful chocolate lab puppies/hounds we found in the Georgetown SPCA.

Pixie, the one on the left has already found her new family. Last weekend she was on a weekend playdate and was discovered by our foster Mom's neighbor. She worked her magic and they are taking her home after they get their fence installed 05-22-06.

We have had LOTS of dogs/pups since we started but these two little women are right up there with the most beautiful pups any of us have ever seen. I call them my little chocolate bunnies but they are not LITTLE! They are already 29 pounds at 4 months so we're thinking they may go to 70 full grown --- or even larger.

They are sweet, little wiggle butts already. We are working on housebreaking and I'm sure with some more practice and more diligent on our part our mission will be accomplished.

The girls are already spayed, completely up to date with all shots and we are accepting applications on Trixie.

All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet, gentle dispositions, and are living in foster homes with families. They each have had the following:

SPAYED/NEUTERED

Microchipped

Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia

On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus (as long as they are with us)

Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.

Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough

Two De-Wormings

PLEASE NOTE: Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced in property either physical or Electric Fence IF there are children in the home.

If you need a fence for your dog, but are not permitted to have a physical fence, or chose not to, please visit our friends at Pet Stop. Mention that you saw them at our website and they have promised to send us a donation to help our rescue work.

We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.

We have several petsitting service companies that we can recommend:

www.delawarepooperscoopers.com in PA, NJ, & DE

http://www.tlcpetsitting.net/ in MD
