UPDATE: It finally happened. The right family came along who wants to give our beloved Beth the love and devotion this darling baby girl so craves. She is so special and so are her new Mom & Dad because they can see how beautiful she is! We're very, very, very happy for Beth and the Mannis family!

UPDATE from Beth's Foster Mom:
The girls are doing so good. They go into the kennel's quite nicely at bedtime and after lunch. I think they trust that I'm not going to leave them there too long now.

Beth is quite the watchdog! She hears everything. She makes her presence known to people around the house, but she doesn't over do it. She calms down when you let her know its okay. Jim came home last night to Beth lounging on the floor in front of the couch and Hannah was laying on the couch with me. It looked like none of us had a worry in the world!

Earlier I was throwing a ball for Beth and Hannah went and picked one up and brought it over to the couch for me. We were having a tug of war with the "vet" chew toy too. She's getting playful! She runs to Jim when he comes in and gives him kisses, naturally so does Beth.

They play so nice together in the yard. Hannah played so hard yesterday that while I was fixing dinner, she was laying on the floor by me and couldn't keep her eyes open. Beth wore her out, he wears me out too! She is like a toddler!

UPDATE from Beth's foster mom: My Beth is less then a year old and such pretty, petite girl! We just had her spayed and she came in at 37 pounds and is getting her figure back after giving birth 5 weeks ago. I don't expect that she ever weigh more then 40 pounds when full grown.

Even though she is so young, she is a calm and gentle soul. A little shy at first, but she warms up quickly.

She just found the joys of playing ball. We don't think she has ever had a toy in her life. She and her pups lived outdoors in a "big barrel" all her life in WV.

She is having such a good time here with us. Beth loves to be with her "girlfriends" the other foster girls and just runs and seems to be playing hide and seek with them. She truly loves dogs but that love is nothing compared to the love she has in her heart for humans! She just LOVES to be with anyone who will pay any attention to her. Beth will give you her paw all day if you'll let her.

Beth is such a joyful, cheerful girl now, that I can see her smiling. When she sees me outside, she comes running and wiggling her butt so hard that she runs sideways! She just makes me laugh and how cute she is. Her ears used to lay flat but now they are getting "perky" and it really seems like her hard life memories are fading for her. She has also found the sofa and puts her paw on the arm and loves to look out the window.

Every TIME she see me though, she stops what she is doing to give me a big greeting --- even if it's been about 10 minutes since the last time we saw each other!

I would prefer that she be adopted with another dog as a playmate and definitely a fenced in yard. She truly loves to be outside so I would like to see her have the luxury of her own yard to sunbathe in. We also do not want to adopt Beth into a family with small children. It really seems that she is frightened of them and she does bark at small kids all the while backing up. She would do better in a home with kids over 10 years old.

This is our newest baby girl Beth who has arrived West Virginia. She is a bit shy at first but when she realizes you want to be her friend you can just see her smile!

She had puppies but another group is raising the pups so that we can find the perfect home for this young baby. She is only a pup herself.

Since she arrived today she is playing with all the dogs and having I'm sure the best time of her life. She lived in a horrible place with horrible people (they actually killed two of her pups for fun!) in WV and has never known love but she is more then willing to give and receive it.
