About Tippy-ADOPTED!! | |

We are so very, very happy for our little sisters. They were adopted by the same family so they can be together forever. They are very close so this is just great!
UPDATE from Tippy's foster Mom:
I must say that in my heart, I am a big dog person. Little dogs to me are just cats that bark. I've met so many that have been "nippy" and growl at everyone -- including their owners, that I just prefer my big dogs!
Now that I live with these Doxie mix kids, Tippy, Gretchen, Kenny and Mindy, (who are all siblings who were dumped at the Kent County SPCA) I can now understand what the big fuss is over these babies! I find myself picking them up, fixing their blankets, in awe of their pure cuteness! They are just like little babies who need to be taken
care of. OK! OK! So, I get it now!
Tippy is a blonde & white doxie mix, a whopping 18 pounds, about 1 1/2 years old who gives millions of kisses. She is the very essence of a lap girl. She curled up in between my husband's knees and just settled in for a snooze. That was after she wore him out giving him many more kisses --- then he felt he
actually needed. This was their first meeting by the way!
She cares for her little sister Gretchen by grooming her and licking
her spay stitches. She is like a little Mommy. So, if you love little dogs
who love people, then my sweet Tippy is the girl for you!
This tiny little one, only 18 pounds found herself and her brothers & sisters sitting at the SPCA in Kent County. Seems their former family didn't want them anymore so they just dumped them all off.
They are all sweet and loving young dogs and we need to find each of them the type of family that will love them forever, not just until they get bored with them.
Tippy (due to the white tipped mark on her nose) seems to be the ring leader and feels she must protect her siblings. She is very affectionate and friendly and will make a wonderful companion. We have already had her spayed.
All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions,
have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:
Microchipping
Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia
First month supply of HeartGuard & Frontline Plus
Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.
Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough
Two De-Worming
Spay/Neuter certificate, where applicable.
No dog 6 months and up will ever leave L&F Dog Rescue without being spayed/neutered. Spay/Neuter is MANDATORY.
