UPDATE: We found the perfect home for these two together. They are getting a Mom & Dad who are both home and more than willing to spend all the time with these pups that we hoped they would get. We know they will have love and devotion and they get to stay together as we had wanted!

As you can see from these pictures, this brother & sister are very close. They spent almost two months in the SPCA together and gave each other comfort.
PLEASE NOTE: We will ONLY permit them to be adopted together.

Since they are only 7 months old and will be a handful together, we would permit them to be adopted a family with personal puppy experience only.

The definition for cute: Milli & Tucker her brother. These pups are so full of life and energy; it is pure enjoyment just to watch them play. They spent too much of their life in the Georgetown, DE SPCA so everything is new to these little ones – what fun!

Milli is no slouch and can romp with the best of them. She is definitely more the terrier – she looks like a blond “Benji”. She is only 25 pounds now so we expect that she will not go above 30 pounds when fully grown.

Both of these tykes will be on our Saturday “Mingle with the Mutts”. Please come out and meet them!

Tucker is the little boy, a cross between a lab and a terrier but he certainly looks more like a lab – only in a smaller version! He is only 33 pounds -- so we doubt that he will go much more than 38 pounds full grown. He looks exactly like a miniature yellow retriever. Neither one of these pups is shy but Tucker tends to be the more gregarious of the two.

All LNF dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions, have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:

SPAYED/NEUTERED

Microchipping

Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia

On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus

Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.

Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough

Two De-Worming

No dog 6 months and up will ever leave LNF Dog Rescue without being spayed/neutered. Spay/Neuter is MANDATORY.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not place puppies in homes where no one will be home all day. Puppies, like babies, need lots of attention, socialization, and cuddles. We do not feel that it is humane to leave them in a crate for 8-10 hours alone.

If you are applying for an adult dog, we do expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
