We are just so very, very happy that we found the perfect Mommy for our Sonny and here is the "kicker" her nickname is
CHER!!!
This is our approximately 3 month old darling black lab mix pup Sonny. He is so sweet and affectionate that he just curls in your lap and melts into you. His sister Cher bosses him around and he just is so calm and mild mannered that he just shrugs and says "OK! Whatever!" He is very, very submissive with humans and other dogs.
We just had them to the vet for their shots and de-worming and he came in at 20 pounds. I believe he will turn out to be medium to large dog. He
and his sister Cher are scheduled to be spayed/neutered at the Kent
County SPCA in DE on 09-22-05.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not place puppies in homes where they will be left alone all day. Part-time is ok. Puppies, like babies, need lots of attention, socialization and cuddles. We do not feel that it is humane to leave them in a crate for 8-10 hours at a time. .
If you have children, then a fence is mandatory. It can be a physical fence or Invisible Fence. The IF company does offer a substantial
discount to people who adopt rescue dogs.
If you would like to fill out an application, you must first register on the website and await an e-mailed passcode. Once you have this info, you will be able to access our application.

All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions, have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:
SPAYED/NEUTERED
Microchipping
Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia
On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus
Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.
Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough
Two De-Worming
If you are applying for an adult dog, we do expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
