About Prancer Went Home 05' | |

BEAUTIFUL BLONDE BOY!! Our poor Prancer/Jake was adopted but he had to be returned because he's proven that he's not at all good with cats as we had initailly thought. So NO KITTIES for Jake! We are still certain about how much he loves other dogs and kids too. He is a nice dog with funny personality.
Prancer/Jake's Mommy told us: "Everyone who meets him loves him to pieces, and now he has some good manners as well." That's because Prancer/Jake attended Williams Dog Training, so whoever adopts him will receive free follow-up training visits.
Prancer looks like a yellow lab sheperd mix about 10-11 months old. Rosy at Wetzel said he is a really good DAWG!
Notes: BEAUTIFUL BLONDE BOY!! Prancer resembles a deer (hence reindeer name) and --- He "prances" when he walks, like a Clydesdale horse. So proud!!! So he got the name PRANCER!!! He likes his photos taken! SO very friendly. He's new to the shelter but already a favorite with everyone. Well behaved when bathed also. Prancer came into the shelter after being starved and was covered with fleas, which he has been treated for. He has his belly full and is very content now! He was so hungry he couldn't even chew his food, just gulped everything down. He is ready for a his forever home!

All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions, have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:
SPAYED/NEUTERED
Microchipping
Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia
On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus
Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.
Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough
Two De-Worming
All adoptions include:
One month of free Shelter Care insurance
2 free weeks of pooper scooper service provided by DE Pooper Scoopers
PLEASE NOTE: Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced in property either physical or Invisible Fence IF there are children in the home.
We do not place puppies in homes where they will be left alone all day. Part-time is ok. Puppies, like babies, need lots of attention, socialization and cuddles. We do not feel that it is humane to leave them in a crate for 8-10 hours at a time. .
If you are applying for an adult dog, we do expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
