Lil' Widdle - Adopted! needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
About Lil' Widdle - Adopted! | |
|
|
Lil' Widdle is an adorable 9 week old Jack Russell Terrier & Chihuahua mix. We are aware of just how CUTE this puppy is but we will only adopt him to a family with "personal" JRT experience. No other applications will be accepted.
While he is very tiny, he has the personality and activity of a terrier mix. He will be a VERY active little Widdle guy. People who love JRT's will love him!
Because of his tiny size will not place him in a home with children under 12 years old.
He can not be adopted outside of the PA, DE area because he will have to be neutered by our vet locally. We would only trust his tiny life to the Concord Pike Vet Hospital in Chadds Ford, PA for neutering.
Update from Foster mom:
Meet Widdle. As you can see, he is such a "Wittle Guy." Don't let that fool you though, he doesn't know it! In spite of his traumatic beginning of his short life, when he was left at an elderly woman's porch with the rest of the litter. They were so dirty and covered with fleas, they were black!
Thankfully, this angel of mercy bathed them and took them to a pound in West Virginia. Widdle was not very popular with his brothers and sisters and they picked on him so, the director of the pound took him home and fed him herself. LnF was so lucky to get him and I have the privilege to foster this loving little guy.
And loving he is! He gives kisses all the time. He is also very clean and smart since he has learned so quickly to potty outside. I have set him up in a playpen with toys, food and water and he has never soiled it! He loves to romp and play with toys, especially cat toys. He also tries to play with my dogs and my cat. They don't know what to make of him since he is so tiny, but they know he is just a baby and my Jack Russell lets him follow him around like his little brother.
I enjoy him the most since I can take him anywhere with me in his little doggie pouch. He goes to Target and the supermarket and just sticks his little head out and watches everyone. sometimes he just naps while I do my shopping.
Widdle has such a great temperament and will make a great companion for anyone who loves to spoil their doggies. He will love you back 10 times more!
All LnF dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions, have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:
SPAYED/NEUTERED
Microchipping
Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia
On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus
Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.
Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough
Two De-Worming
All adoptions include:
One month of free Shelter Care insurance
2 free weeks of pooper scooper service provided by DE Pooper Scoopers
PLEASE NOTE: Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced-in property either physical or Invisible Fence IF there are children in the home.
We do not place puppies in homes where they will be left alone all day. Part-time is ok. Puppies, like babies, need lots of attention, socialization, and cuddles. We do not feel that it is humane to leave them in a crate for 8-10 hours at a time.
If you are applying for an adult dog, we do expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
