UPDATE: Q has met his new Mommy and new 4-legged sister and he will be joining the family soon. We are very happy for our wonderful young man. He is truly one of our best, best, best boys and each of us who have loved him will miss having that sweet face to look into! We know Mom will send us updates and pictures of him in his new life but still, we will miss him. He has touched every life in this rescue.

Quincey is a hugs and cuddles magnet; he's irresistible, and everyone who meets him comments on how well behaved and mild mannered he is! Quincey is about 2 years old, and he is an extremely laid back, handsome, gentle and loving dog who loves people, other dogs & has shown little to no interest in cats. He is a gentle giant!

This sweet boy was rescued by the animal control in Georgetown DE while running the streets; he has a scar on his muzzle that gives him character.
Quincey is so easy to have around - he just wants to please you. In the yard he has a spring in his step, and he's content to trot around then find a nice sunny spot to lounge in. He is also great on the leash and loves walks. He rarely barks. In the house, he rolls over for tummy rubs and loves to be close to me; what a "teddy bear" he is! He is extemely well behaved, listens and is content to just lay on the floor and enjoy your company! Qunicey has a big smile on his face all the time.

Come meet Quincey and see for yourself what a great dog he is!

Quincey tested positive for Lyme disease and is currently on antibiotics; our vet said that because of his young age he will be just fine! He is a normal happy dog. However, we do feel strongly that he have follow-up inexpensive E.R.D. Urine test ($25) every six months for at least 2 years to monitor his health.

Whoever adopts Quincey must be willing to commit to him on this level - believe me, once you meet this guy you will know he is worth it!

All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions, have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:

SPAYED/NEUTERED

Microchipping

Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia

On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus

Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.

Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough

Two De-Worming

PLEASE NOTE: Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced in property either physical or Invisible Fence IF there are children in the home.

We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.

We have several petsitting service companies that we can recommend:

www.homesweethomepetsit.org/ in PA & DE

www.delawarepooperscoopers.com in PA, NJ, & DE

http://www.tlcpetsitting.net/ in MD

We also have a wonderful all day Doggy Day Care service:
Fuzzy Butts Doggy Day Care in Chadds Ford, PA
www.fuzzybuttsPA.com
(I have visited this facility and it is wonderful and reasonable)
