ADOPTED! I'm beyond delighted that finally after almost a year of "no interest" Gigi has finally been found by her new parents. She'll have 3 siblings but the best part is she'll have a beautiful little sister Kiki who is almost a "clone" in both looks & personality & is a Busy Bee like Gigi! It is a wonderful perfect LNF match! Gigi is my #576th adoption since 2-24-2004

[Photo: Before and Now shown below] From a sad and scared little pup at the Virginia shelter where she was abandoned, to the delightful and energetic furball she is today, Gigi's transformation is truly heartwarming. We're grateful she came into our care, and now she's looking for her very own family & loving home! One of the things that I love most about Gigi is I really love the butterfly kisses that she gives me every time I pick her up to go outside to potty. She is so very, very cute! Have you ever wanted a small dog that you can dress up & buy fantastic outfits? I think she would love to be dressed up in the latest doggie fashions.

Breed & Size: Gianna seems to be a delightful Chihuahua/Terrier blend. At present, she weighs a petite 8 lbs. We anticipate she'll be a compact 12-15 lbs when she's fully grown.
Personality Traits:
- High Energy: This girl has turbo-charged paws! Those little legs really move!
- Fun-Loving: To Gigi, the world is a playground. Everything and everyone is an opportunity for a new adventure.
- Loves Attention: She thrives on human interaction and is always up for some affectionate petting and playful antics.
- ️ Vocal: Gigi isn’t shy to express herself through barks - a trait common in her breed.
- Toy Enthusiast: Gigi can be quite an independent player, often amusing herself for hours with her favorite toys.
Special Considerations:
- Puppyhood: Like all puppies, Gigi is inquisitive and can be quite the chewer. If your shoes are missing, you know where to look!
- Territorial with Toys: She's possessive of her toys, often signaling her claim with a bark if other dogs approach her stash.
- Rough Player: Gigi's play style is full-on. She'd do best with a younger canine companion who matches her energy level and loves to play as rough and tumble as she does.
Adoption Requirements:
- Experience with Puppies: Given Gigi's age and energy, we require potential adopters to have prior experience raising puppies.
- A Young, Active Family: Given her expected lifespan of 15-18 years, we'd love for Gigi to find a home with a young family that will cherish and care for her throughout her life.

About LNF Dogs/Puppies:
- All dogs and puppies have undergone temperament testing.
- They live in foster homes.
- They are housebroken (puppies are paper-trained) and crate trained.
- They have been microchipped for identification purposes.
- They have been tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, and Lyme disease.
- Each dog is on year-round Heartworm medication while in the rescue's care.
- They are up-to-date with Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper, Parvo, and Leptospirosis vaccines.
- They have been de-wormed.
Adoption Fee:
- The adoption fee includes 30 days of FREE pet insurance, with an option to purchase additional coverage.
- The rescue strives to provide the best medical care to ensure the health of the dogs, including spaying or neutering.
Adoption Requirements:
- A minimum physical fence of 4 feet in height is mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may require a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence, as noted in their profiles.
- Electric fences are not accepted under any circumstances.
