My pretty baby Paris now has a Mommy, Daddy --- big sister Sammi and a two-legged brother & baby sister. She was so shy, this baby has already been beaten by humans and she is only 8 weeks old but she came around and really came to life when she met her BIG, rowdy sister Sammi! Sammi is very playful and was very, very excited to meet this small little thing --- but I watched Paris face light up at being chased around the big back yard.
I really think her Mommy is going to have her hands full with all this activity but she assured me she is up to the task. Paris is going to be a Jersey girl like her Aunt Marleen!
This is our new baby Paris who is about 2 months old. You can see how pretty she is! She also came in from our favorite shelter Wetzel in WV along with Nikki, Hoss, Lil' Joe and Adam. I expect that she will be a medium size little girl and weigh about 25-30 pounds when full grown. I have one picture of her with Nikki who is a terrier mix so you can see her size compared to Nikki.
She was found abandoned alone in a box. Luckily someone came along just in time to save her life or she would have died alone.
Paris is very sweet, but shy. It seems that she has already been abused by humans. I know it's hard to believe that people can hurt defenseless animals --- but it happens all the time.
She and all our pups and dogs will be at our "Mingle With Our Mutts"
at the Concord Pet Store in Hockessin, DE this coming Saturday, May 21st, from 11-2 PM. We are accepting applications on all our "shelter kids."
