Maisey-ADOPTED!!! needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

Maisey just went home with her new family. She was so happy to see that she was going to get a BIG 2-legged brother to help her get out some of that energy she has. She is also getting a SWIMMING POOL (yeah!!) and she is going to learn French since her new Mommy is from Montreal' --- so we think we did very well for Maisey --- that is always our goal to find them the very best family for them forever.

Maisey is exactly what her breed suggests --- a real water hound.
When she sees me heading for the hose, she is standing there waiting for me to turn it on so she can drink and splash around. She is what we call a "mudder" and that means if there is a teaspoon of water anywhere around, she will find and locate it and stomp in it until she
has made MUD! She can not help that, she was born that way!!
She is also the sweetest, most playful, good natured pup. She plays all day with her foster brother and sisters and then just wants to settle down and curl up in my arms. She is extremely affectionate and gives LOTS and LOTS of kisses.
Due to her size, we do want her to only be placed in a home with either
an Invisible Fence or a 6-foot physical fence. She can and does "sail"
over gates and we feel with a running start she could easily jump over
a 4-foot fence.

All LNF dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions, have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:
SPAYED/NEUTERED
Microchipping
Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia
On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus
Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.
Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough
Two De-Worming
All adoptions include:
One month of free Shelter Care insurance
We do not place puppies in homes where they will be left alone all day. Part-time is ok. Puppies, like babies, need lots of attention, socialization, and cuddles. We do not feel that it is humane to leave them in a crate for 8-10 hours at a time. .
If you are applying for an adult dog, we do expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
