Foster To Adopt Program -- Monday December 16th, 2013
LnF Dog Rescue introduces “Foster to Adopt Program” Do you love the song “Bridge Over Troubled Waters?” Does it bring up memories of when you were the *bridge* for someone who needed you -- or someone was your "bridge?" If so, you could save a life right now by being a “bridge” for a rescued dog or cat. If you adopt from a shelter/rescue, that creates space for them to save another life. Millions of animals are still dying every day for lack of a foster home or their own home, but with your help - we could change those statistics. We're offering a new program to potential adopters where they can foster one of our rescued dogs to see if it’s a perfect match before adopting. Our normal adoption requirements would need to be met or exceeded (they are listed on a link left side of our website) & since we are a very experienced rescue group, we’ll help make sure to make a good match based on your lifestyle. Sometimes people pick a dog that just isn’t right for them, but we can offer alternative dogs that would fit right with your family & home. We'll allow the family to *foster* for exactly three (3) weeks. Since we all foster, we know you can’t even judge a dog’s true potential until after two (2) weeks. If at the end of the (3) weeks you decide this is the perfect dog for you – you’ll can legally adopt at that time. If you find it wasn’t the match you’d hoped, the dog must be returned to LnF immediately. If you’d like we’ll consider trying another dog --- but that will be on a case by case basis.
